Child (sketch)

A few days before discovering that I was going to be a father, I drew this sketch. Some kind of punk cyberknight, protecting a child embryo from the evil tentacles of a gruesome fate. Funny, realizing that baby Alice was on her way really changed it all. 'Twas that final push I needed to quit the day job and go full freelance, thus re-igniting the 2D animation burners, lift off to gather my wits and rejoin with old mates from the scene. Ended up landing at an awesome studio as Senior 2D Animator, right here in Portugal! The future? Bright, full of possibilities! Perhaps I'll finish this sketch someday, but for now it'll remain a symbol of the perennial WIP that life is, so beautifully embodied by tiny sweet Alice...
